An Essential Research poll released on the 21st of September found 49 per cent of Australians support Hanson’s ban on Muslim immigration, including 60 per cent of Coalition voters, 40 per cent of Labor voters and 34 per cent of Greens voters.
Why is it that certain figures in the media and the rank and file of politics have to unleash a fury of hate, vitriol and all manner of nastiness, if after all she represents a very large percentage of Australians?
Why is it that Turnbull is always downplaying the threat that radical Islam presents to Australian people and our way of life? Why is it that he dismissed the threats made by Daesh (Islamic State) to stab, shoot, poison and run over Australians at iconic attractions including Bondi Beach and the MCG when they’ve carried out these attacks in other countries already with many more most certainly planned. Will the real Prime Minister please stand up and give us an answer?
We’ve got to take this seriously. None of this beating around the bush kind of nonsense. When Islamic State makes a threat, they will most certainly carry it out. They’re always looking for opportunities to do it. It’s only less than a month ago that a Jihadist stabbed and cold-bloodedly murdered two Queensland backpackers whilst screaming “Allahu Akbar” (Allah is Great). Oh how easy it is to forget.
These are simply genuine and well founded concerns. It’s not because we hate Muslims or because we’re “racist” (by the way Islam is a religion not a race, so get that right) or “Islamaphobic”. I personally do not hate Muslims but I do have a big problem with the radical component of their religion and ideology.
I think a decent portion of the Australian populace are waking up to the current state of affairs in Australia and they’re making it very clear that they are uneasy about the prospect of radicalised Muslims flooding into Australia. They are making it very clear that they fear for their safety, those of their loved ones and their communities. They’re making it very clear that we will have serious problems with crime, losing Aussie assets, home-grown terrorism, violence, oppression of women and families depending on welfare and government handouts – all at the cost of Australian taxpayers’ dollars. Oh and talking about oppression of women, can the feminists please explain to me how allowing sharia law into this great country will do any good to their cause?
We can see what the Islamists do in other countries and are doing here at a smaller scale. But as usual instead of learning from the mistakes of other countries, in typical fashion and in order to be politically correct, we ignore them all in the name of being “progressive”, “tolerant”, “politically correct” and whatever else. The real truth is that we’re regressing and doing so to our own hurt.
Instead of approaching issues with bias and emotions running high, how about we address them by looking at the bigger picture and all the risks posed? The tough questions must be asked, not sidestepped like what some spineless pollies such as Sarah Hanson Young and her clueless Greenie cronies do all the time.
Look at Europe with their immigration crisis right now. Look at Germany for example. It’s one big mess that will either take a long time to be solved or will never be solved thanks to Angela Merkel’s “progressive” efforts to open the borders up and let ’em all come runnin’ in. They’ve closed up their borders now but the damage has been done and they’re losing their country. We’ve got radical Muslims literally kicking citizens out of their homes, assaulting people on the street, thinking it’s ok to inappropriately touch and rape women (oh yeah and don’t forget the silly little ‘don’t touch me’ wrist bands don’t do a jolly thing), causing major damage to property, committing acts of terror, pooping in public pools and shower room and really just being lawless. It’s not as if these guys can’t work. They’re simply destructive and they’re causing these EU countries a lot of financial burden and a lot of grief.
I think Hanson’s idea of banning Muslim immigration is well founded. If Islam is so wonderful then why aren’t they content back in their home countries? Why is it that they want to come here? Islam has failed as a religious, economical and political system, big time. And if Islam is an oppressive and miserable ideology, then why won’t the great majority of immigrants abandon their religion when they come here or at least become “moderate”? Why won’t they assimilate and integrate with Australian culture, which was founded upon Judeo-Christian values?
Because they have an agenda, a sinister and hard core one at that. When you look at their religion, the name ‘Islam’ says it all. That word means submission and dominance in the form of bloodshed and that’s exactly what they do and are doing. That’s why they want to come to Europe, the USA, Britain and Australia – to make us all apart of their Islamic State. No if’s or but’s or tipi-toeing around the truth.
Clearly Islamists do not share Australia’s values and are a threat to our way of life. If they want to live here then they must be willing to assimilate. But they simply won’t do that. They won’t be on ‘Team Australia’ as Tony Abbot would say.
