The Washington Mall shooter, 20-year-old Arcan Cetin, who killed 5 people (including a 16 year old female cancer survivor) at the Cascade Shopping Mall in Burlington (which by the way is a gun free zone), roughly 93 miles north (150 km) of Seattle, has been captured after an extensive manhunt which lasted almost 24 hours.
Officers state that Cetin was “kind of zombie-like” when he was taken into custody. He didn’t attempt to run from arresting officers. Cetin is in fact a Turkish Muslim immigrant and not Hispanic like original reports stated. Surprise, surprise!
As these latest reports came in via Twitter and various news sources, I was not surprised one single bit. Looking at the blurry CCTV images that came in the day before, I could easily make out this man was not Hispanic.
Was it a coincidence that this gunman was a Turkish Muslim? I don’t think so. Did a gun-free zone prevent the shooting? Obviously not. So to all the liberals out there, here’s more proof that gun free zones don’t do a darnedest thing to prevent mass shootings.
According to Cetin’s Facebook profile (which appears to have been deleted), he comes from Adana, Turkey, a country which has a predominantly Sunni Muslim population and holds very similar alignments to the Islamic State.
Arcan also appears to be a Hillary Clinton supporter and posted this cryptic message to his Twitter account on the 19th of January.
We win I vote for Hillary Clinton

In 2015, Cetin was involved in a 4th degree assault in Oak Harbor. As a result, the court ordered him to go under a mental-health evaluation, which was completed in March 2016, according to KIRO 7. He was ordered not to use drugs or alcohol during this time. On Aug. 25, 2016, he was found in compliance with all court orders, including weekly mental-health counseling.
The investigation is ongoing and according to authorities, terrorism hasn’t been ruled out (yeah, right). Regardless, this is such a horrific and senseless attack which has definitely put terror into the hearts of many around the nation as well as the world. I really do feel especially for the 16 year old girl who survived cancer only to have her short life tragically come to an end thanks to this lowlife.
