Dear Prime Minister,
I am writing to ask you to oppose any pushes for so-called same-sex marriage to be legalised in Australia. As I’m sure you would know, true marriage in the traditional sense is between a man and a woman to the exclusion of all others. This is defined by the Holy Bible (which was instrumental in our nation’s founding, the place where we get our moral code from and certainly something that our legal system was based upon) and has been so for the last millennia. It is not a matter for the government to meddle with. It is certainly not a matter for society to meddle with or attempt to change in any way. I also ask you to oppose any attempts from the LGBTIQ community to make abhorrent “same-sex marriage” normalised through news mediums. As you would also know, homosexuality is a very serious and abominable sin. Same sex marriage is a complete mockery of true, normal marriage. Homosexuality is abnormal contrary to them wanting us to see them as normal. Fifty years ago, homosexuality was looked down upon as engaging in such activity was considered shameful.
Research has shown that children do best in families where traditional marriage exists (i.e. male and female). Two homosexuals can never offer the same love and care to children.
Redefining marriage will open it up to a wide array of other configurations such as polygamy, beastiality and who knows what else. I am a young person, and I for one would not like to live in a society where unisex toilets exist. This would make toilet facilities 100 times worse than they already are especially for females.
Once again, I ask you to resist any pressure to redefine marriage in Australia and continue to affirm, time honoured, true, traditional marriage.
